The viewer points the provided smartphone or tablet device at the printed image the custom augmented reality software instantly scans the photographic print and displays a video of the book with the text disappearing, leaving behind bursts of eraser debris with no evidence to how it’s happening.

The pages exposed come from the book Metahistory. In this book, the author Hayden White explains the motives of historians during the early days of the development of the context of social history. There have been many books written about these ideas, but White delivers an updated version with the inclusion of gender, race, labor movements (among others) from around the world into history has resulted in a shift not just in how our present day story is told, but also in how we view our past.
